A private house in Elektrougli, Moscow Region, features standing seam roofing in GZOTSM copper, copper-clad dormers and custom copper trim on the canopies. The copper complements the brick facades, while the decorative window surrounds emphasize the geometry of the mansard roof.
The project involved the installation of copper standing seam roofing and copper cladding to the dormers. The roof covering was fabricated from Russian-made GZOTSM copper strip. The standing seam panel layout was coordinated with the window positions and the geometry of the roof slopes.
Particular attention was paid to the custom metalwork: window surrounds, decorative cover plates, cornice details and copper trim on the timber canopies. These elements follow the architectural lines of the house and visually connect the main roof with the smaller canopies.
The rainwater system consists of copper gutters, hopper heads and downpipes. The photographs also show snow guards, a roof ladder and close-up views of the joints and metalwork.
