Copper Facades of Reef Residence in Sochi
The copper facades of Reef Residence in Sochi echo the smooth lines of the building by the Black Sea. The patinated copper KME TECU Patina emphasizes the curves of the balconies, unites the horizontal facade bands, and the cladding of the plinth. Its green shades reveal themselves differently in sunlight and shade, alongside the glass railings and light sloping supports.
RADEKA carried out the detailed design and copper cladding of the western and southern facades, balconies, roof, and plinth. Copper was used in the balcony cladding on the horizontal facade bands and lower surfaces. Close-up shots show the layout of sheet elements, the design of curves, joints, and connection details.
The factory patina allowed for a characteristic green surface to be achieved right after installation. At the same time, the copper retained its lively texture and color variations, which are especially noticeable up close. The gallery features overall views of the residence, work stages, and details of the completed cladding.
